What your boxes are made from
Our burger boxes are produced from strong food-grade card stock with a grease-resistant finish, printed using food-safe inks. The card is sturdy enough to take a stacker without collapsing, and the grease resistance stops oil from the patty and cheese bleeding through to your print.
A few honest specifics worth knowing before you order:
- The boxes are made from solid card stock, not corrugated board. Sturdy, but lighter and tidier looking than corrugated.
- They are grease-resistant, not leak-proof. For juicy smash burgers, saucy sliders or anything with a wet glaze, we’d recommend pairing the box with a sheet of custom printed greaseproof paper wrapped around the burger before it goes in.
That greaseproof pairing also gives you a second branded touchpoint inside the box, which photographs beautifully on social.

The card we use to make custom burger boxes is sustainably sourced, recyclable, and made with plant-based inks. However the glued press lock base boxes do have glue on and this glue is not recyclable. Different councils have rules regarding food-soiled card so check with your local council, but the card we use is fully recyclable.
Minimums vary by box style and size. Most start lower than you’d expect for a fully bespoke printed run. Send us your spec and we’ll confirm the MOQ for your order.
You’re welcome to order a free sample of our branded burger boxes. Please note they will not have your branding on, they will have branding from one of our customers.
The card is grease-resistant but the boxes are not sealed against liquid. For juicy or saucy burgers we recommend wrapping the burger in printed greaseproof paper before boxing. It keeps the build contained and gives you a second branded touchpoint inside the box.
